12 September 2025 - Poros, Cephalonia
More of the same today. Out of the harbour early and then motoring all day into a very light wind as we moved between the islands.
On arrival we were shouted at by the "harbour master" as we did not moor where he wanted us to. We had come early as the harbour is very small and we wanted to get our preferred position on the pontoon, exactly where we had been on our previous visits, and exactly where he had told us to moor in the past. The system must have changed and apparently "if we had been before, we should have known". We didn't move and he came back later in a much more conciliatory mood, possibly helped by the fact that I had helped 4 other boats to dock, one of them doing so twice!
It was very hot today, and we were glad to walk through to the "beach" near the harbour, and swim to cook off.
No pictures again today, as there was nothing of interest to photograph.
Distance today - 28 miles
Steve (and Tricia)
